The extreme point of the Sorrento peninsula towards the island of Capri, between the Bay of Naples and the Bay of Salerno.

Heart of the “Marine Reserve Punta Campanella”, it has preserved its agricultural vocation. Its territory is covered by the intense green of its citrus fruit trees, by the silver of its ancient olive trees and by the various tones of colour of the Mediterranean bushes, all set in one of the most beautiful coasts in the world.

Rich in hidden beaches, quiet inlets and small bays that over the centuries have offered refuge to fishermen and sailors: Oscines, Etruscans, Greeks and Romans. As the legend says, the mythical Ulysses sailed along this coast, same coast that gave refuge with the famous Galli islands to the even more mythical mermaids. Coasts that have suffered plundering at the hands of the terrible Turkish pirates and also preserve remains of imposing towers and of splendid Roman villas.

This is the central point for the arrival and departure of all visitors to the Sorrento Peninsula, with its harbour, the Marina Piccola from where they embark to reach the most beautiful parts of the Gulf of Naples: Capri, Ischia, Naples, Positano, Amalfi, Isles of the Mermaids. The main station of the Circumvesuviana, a small local train that departs from Naples and passes through all the towns around Vesuvius such as Torre del Greco, Torre Annunziata, Portici, Ercolano, Pompei and the final stop Sorrento.

Sorrento has been a tourist haven since the 1800’s, illustrious visitors from all over the world have stayed in its prestigious hotels overlooking the sea.

Kosten pro Tag 70,00 Euro pro Bett und Frühstück, im Juli und August 90,00 Euro.

Abendessen auf Reservierung wird 35 Euro pro Person.

Zusatzbett kostet 25 Euro.

Die Kosten der Heizung ist von der Anzahl der verwendeten Stunden.

Es liegt in einem bezaubernden Eckchen unseres Anwesens, sehr ruhig, mit eigener Sonnenwiese und einer Leseecke unter einem alten Baum.

Lassen Sie sich von dem Blick auf das blaue Meer, die grünen Hügel und den Sonnenuntergang bei Capri und Ischia bezaubern.

It is an incredibly beautiful beach protected on the one side by the Punta Campanella and the other side by Punta Penna.

It is a fascinating excursion, with free access, through a territory of natural interest inside the “Protected Marine Area” and actually owned by the F.A.I.

The extreme point of the Sorrento Peninsula, its high coast stretches in the sea between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.

The view it has of Capri is splendid with its Faraglioni rocks and the Bay of Ieranto.

The temple of Athena stood there, dedicated to the Goddess Minerva, from which the surrounding terrotory derives its antique name “Promontorium Minervae”. Still well preserved is the “Torre Minerva”, built in 1334.
